About Daily Rooted Health

Daily Rooted Health is a small wellness publication for adults in the second half of life. We write for readers in their 50s and 60s who are paying closer attention to their health than they used to, who want evidence-aware coverage rather than hot-take wellness, and who are tired of either being talked down to or scared into making decisions.

Our coverage focuses on the unglamorous corners of midlife health: the oral microbiome, metabolic resilience, sleep, mobility, and the small daily habits that compound into long-term outcomes. We're drawn to research that's quietly important but rarely front-page news — the kind of thing your dentist or doctor might mention offhand and you find yourself thinking about for weeks afterward.

We try to be careful. We link to original research where we can. We avoid claims a careful reader couldn't verify. When we recommend something — including products we have affiliate relationships with — we say so plainly and we say why.
